| Professional Power Loudspeakers The Power Loudspeakers are all crafted under a common technology approach; use the finest materials possible, and build the speakers and cabinets to withstand years of abuse. Bass reflex designs -- this means that the speakers are more efficient, requiring less amplifier power. The cabinets are constructed out of strong, lightweight Oriented Strand Board (OSB), with high density, low resonance baffles. Full dado interlocking construction -- stronger than conventional "stick" built construction. Vented Pole pieces on the woofers keep them cooler; extended pole pieces provide a very linear speaker movement, for enhanced power handling capabilities at high sound pressure levels. The MTX has unique high frequency protection circuitry. This feature protects your high frequency speaker from damaging musical transients. The circuitry actually compresses the damaging parts of the audio signal, while passing through the peaks that give your music its richness and character (you can turn it up, and then turn it up again without worry).
