Enclosed Subwoofers
The P15SRB and PWRS15 both use the MTX bandpass enclosure design with a 15" subwoofer. The bandpass design features a sealed front chamber, with a tuned port rear chamber that acoustically eliminates upper frequencies -- no need for external crossovers. These bandpass enclosures are made for BASS.
The bandpass design offers many distinct advantages over traditional vented subwoofers:

- MORE Power - Up to 1400 watts Total Power Handling
- Less Distortion - Eliminating the high frequencies reduces upper harmonic distortion.

The sealed front chamber protects your subwoofer from damage from demanding
low frequencies. In addition, the woofer is fully encased within the cabinet,
protecting it from physical damage.
The P15SRB subwoofer features a 2" voice coil, powerful 50 ounce magnet, and handles up to 1200 watts total power. With the PWRS15, you step up to a 3" voice coil, massive 82 ounce magnet, and rugged die-cast aluminum frame. The PWRS15 handles up to 1400 watts total power. Both models feature a speaker stand mount in the top to pole-mount a full-range speaker (use the PWR ET 26" black steel mounting pole).
